Here's the important part: In the Donation Code box on the purchase page, type in 1dd2da. That will attach your purchase to us and Annapolis Green will receive a donation from Landmarks!

Tomorrow is 18th Annual Maryland Environmental Legislative Summit, chock full of info about the legislative priorities of the our lawmakers and the environmental community. Come and see where they intersect. The topics will include offshore wind, clean water, and more... all vital to sustainable living. Read the agenda.
Then,  "Continue the Conversation" at Green Drinks, sponsored this month by the Chesapeake Legal Alliance.
Our  generous host for Green Drinks is the Loews Annapolis Hotel. The Loews is just a short walk -- or an eCruiser ride -- away from the Miller Senate Office Building, where the Summit will be held. Thank you to eCruisers for providing us with free Green electric shuttle rides. (Don't forget to tip your driver.)
We've been urging you to follow the work of General Assembly in its 90-day session that began last week. One way to start doing that, from an environmental perspective, is to attend the Summit. The Summit gives environmental advocates and legislators a chance to present their environmental priorities for the session. Then follow it up with conversation at Green Drinks! Here are the details:

It's the dark of winter, the Super Bowl will be a memory -- why not enjoy a cozy evening of learning and entertainment about our environment?
Several films will be screened, with the feature film being Energy on Trial, a film by Gary Jobson. Yes, it's a film by local sailing superstar Gary Jobson and it's not about sailing.

Bring us your Corks for Recycling!
 Natural corks don't belong in a landfill. After they've done their job sealing in wine or champagne, they can have another life as part of shoes, flooring, and more. So although cork is a sustainable resource because the trees regrow the bark that is harvested -- why waste it?
Annapolis Green has partnered with recork.org to collect corks and send them to Recork for recycling. So bring them to our Green Drinks events from here forward and we'll make sure they get a second life! This applies to natural cork only -- not the plastic ones!
