44th Annual Maryland Seafood Festival

We're making it Green!

Saturday & Sunday, Sept. 10 & 11
Sandy Point State Park

It's a tasty and entertaining tradition, with music, great food, exhibits, arts and crafts, and featuring The Capital's 21st Crab Soup Cook-off and the DNR's Maryland Fishing Challenge Featuring the Diamond Jim Award Ceremony. The Festival built around a safe, family friendly environment showcasing the great seafood that Maryland has to offer. Live music performances, local charities selling delicious treats, creative craft booths, not to mention everyone's seafood favorites will be featured.

Annapolis Green has teamed up with WasteStrategies on a number of upcoming projects, including greening the Seafood Festival. WasteStrategies provides turnkey environmental management solutions of multiple waste streams at multiple levels in a way that reduces costs, increases the amount of waste that is recycled, and focuses on an end result of zero waste -- just our kind of folks. So, Annapolis Green will have a presence at the festival in its Green Tent, spreading information about living sustainaby AND helping the festival itself recycle and reduce waste. We need volunteers to help us staff the tent! Interested? Send Lynne an email. | Information about the Festival
