The day before St. Pat's we put on our triple green -- eco, spring, and Irish -- and went back to the garden for what has become our yearly spring event. After a dreary winter it was wonderful to be surrounded by flowers and to get our sustainable gardening wits about us again! And what a great prelude to the wearin' of the Irish green the next day. Our event was held right in the middle of Homestead's 2011 Garden Show, Mediterranean Retreat. We hope you picked up a Green Drinks discount coupon from our gracious hosts. It's good until March 31!

As we did our walk through Friday at SERC, we got a special treat with Maryland Day activities in full swing. So much history and future discoveries are underway.  We truly are in for a wonderful time as we celebrate Earth Day and the Bay in April.
