Top of the Line

It's been quite a year for Annapolis Green, Green Drinks Annapolis, action on health solutions for the Bay, and awareness of the importance of buying local and making good Green decisions in everyday buying and living.

Through Green Drinks and our electronic communications, we have provided the ONLY local forum that allows people who have a passion for our planet and our local environment to know one another and one another's interests. It's fun with a serious side. We know for a fact that business deals have been made as a result of connections begun at Green Drinks. And, we know of romantic connections that began over a Green Drinks too!

As our numbers have grown we are finding it challenging to  communicate our messages and other information to you, our eco-socializers!  We've been so frustrated that we haven't been able to really present a program at our events -- so we'll start a new thing in January, when our theme will be bringing alternative energy to our homes and businesses.  When you arrive, we'll give you a rack card with the message we want you to take away. You can read that at your leisure and follow up with more info on our website. Or, read it on the spot and discuss it with other green drinkers!

If there's one word that comes into our minds on this last day of the year, it's gratitude. We are so grateful for the support you have shown us in 2010. We believe we (and that includes YOU) are making a difference in the Annapolis area, relentlessly bringing attention to local environmental issues and what we and our neighbors are doing about this. Thank you for sticking with us. Great things are coming in 2011!

And our gratitude is especially warm for our sponsors,, supporters, and Green Drinks hosts, listed below.

As we start the new year, the "pollution diet" is in place, so we might have the best chance ever to bring the Bay back to where it should be, the economy is starting to come back and we're returned to our view that the  "glass is half full" rather than half-empty for the future.

Have a safe and happy New Year!

Lynne & Elvia

We believe in encouraging businesses to operate in an Earth-friendly way, so we have created your own Green Drinks calling cards that YOU can leave at local businesses to let them know that your patronage is due to their "greenness" or that you won't if they don't make some effort to "green up." You can download them here. Front | Back. These work well with Avery Business Cards #8877.
