Attend the Annapolis region presentation and Q&A on the State of Maryland's Draft Watershed Implementation Plan (WIP) - with special reference to our local tributaries - vis-a-vis the EPA's Draft Chesapeake Bay TMDL (total maximum daily load) report.

Among those presenting will be DNR's Irene Hantman and Claudia Donegan; and Frank Biba, Staff Environmentalist for the City of Annapolis' Department of Neighborhood and Environmental Programs. The timing of this meeting is geared to the WIP comment period which ends November 8.

The Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay celebrates 38 years of service and dedication to protecting and restoring the Bay and its watershe. Join the celebration and enjoy delicious local delicacies, live music by Them Eastport Oyster Boys, and see the presentation of the 2010 Environmental Leadership Award.

The Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay is a regional nonprofit organization that builds and fosters partnerships to protect and to restore the Bay and its rivers. The Alliance does not lobby or litigate. Instead, they do the slow, hard work of bridging dialogue between groups that don't see eye-to-eye, forming strategies for joint solutions, and building the capacity of communities for local-level action.
