A night under the stars ... that's our June program ... a fun and exciting evening downtown at the Annapolis Summer Garden Theatre. The Theatre's Board (all volunteers) is looking forward to showing off its renovation as sit opens its 45th season. After three years of planning and fundraising, the first part of the renovation began in March and it has some Green features including Geothermal heating and air conditioning. The theatre has implemented recyling and the use of reusable water bottles as well as use of recycled or reclaimed materials as much as possible.

Not only will we be hearing about the new Green renovations at the theatre, but also taking a sustainable look at entertainment along with a few teasers to make sure we return for a show this summer, either Forever Plaid, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, or Buddy--The Buddy Holly Story.

Our evening also will be a joint event with Maryland Life Magazine,helping them "launch" their May/June issue that contains an article on Green Drinks, "Raise a Glass to Green." Read it.

To cap the evening off we're having a sort of dine-a-round. Participating eCruisers member restaurants will be inviting you to join them after our event at the theatre. There will be dinner specials to which you can go aboard an eCruisers electric shuttle.
