Artist World Concert Promotion will present Czech trained African American conductor Marlon Daniel, winner of the 2009 Foncannon Conducting Award, in a concert at Prague's historic Rudolfinum. One of the brightest new stars of classical music today he will lead the Praga Sinfonietta in a concert of music by Mahler, Brahms and a world premiere work by Hampson Sisler. at Prague's historic Rudolfinum, Dvořák Hall.

The 47th annual festival will take place at the Milwaukee Art Museum grounds on the Lake Michigan . The Milwaukee Art Museum's three-day art festival has been going strong for more than four decades. One of the nation's premier juried art festivals, it draws thousands of people each year. It features 172 artists from around the country showing and selling their work, a silent art auction, college student art show, children's art activities, live music and more.

International Call for Video Artists
Sea of Seas
Media artist Orly Aviv is seeking video artists to shoot a video from their country sea shore for this International collaborative project.  The exhibition will take place in October 2009 at The Slade Research Center, at the University College in London, UK.

Salvatore Schiciano received his BFA in painting at the Cleveland Institute of Art, and is currently in the graduate program at Penn State. His current conceptual pursuit involves the manipulation of historical references both literally and metaphorically. His current series, "The Iconic Puns" exemplifies these rearrangements by the imposing of humors counter ideologies onto iconic historical photographs. Salvatore has exhibited work in Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York and Massachusetts. He has also curated shows in Ohio, Pennsylvania and Florence, Italy.
