The Holidays Bring Joy and Turmoil
Greetings!
As we enter the holiday season, we are surrounded by glittering lights, holiday music, and numerous opportunities for special gifts to purchase for friends and loved ones. For many this is a joyous time of year in which we get to visit with people we haven't seen in a while, enjoy special foods and exciting events. For others, it is a time of stress, depression, sadness, and anxiety.
This holiday season seems different from previous ones. How can we not be affected by the prevalent issues at hand - like the Occupy events which started with Wall Street and have expanded globally, and the global strife evidenced by riots and revolts in numerous countries? It is important to recognize the courage and the global cause of the individuals and groups participating and we can't help but be impacted by these local and global events emotionally, physically and especially spiritually.
Most of us have the awareness on one level or another that we are indeed all connected. What happens to one person tangentially affects us all. As we become increasingly more aware that we are all part of the universal source of life, it makes sense that we can't help but be affected by the people around us and the events happening in the world. As we we are all becoming more evolved, we are becoming more sensitive as well as more tuned in to the people we interact with. As a result of our increasing sensitivity and intuition, it is becoming even more challenging to keep ourselves in balance on all levels.
Unresolved issues that we are still carrying around with us in our unconscious mind along with the fact that time continues to speed up and we are becoming more sensitive exacerbate the already existing challenge of becoming and maintaining a sense of balance. An increased sense of hopelessness or discouragement, a lack of ease, increased anxiety, and stress are some of the symptoms that indicate professional help may be needed to resolve issues and increase balance in one's life. Prolonged 'dis-ease' of the mind and heart eventually manifests in the physical body in the form of headaches, digestive disorders, back and neck pain and heart disease to name a few. When our bodies don't feel good, a negative cycle can develop in which our thoughts become increasingly negative because we feel discouraged and in more pain, making it increasingly difficult to keep a positive mental outlook. Because thoughts really are 'things' and are very powerful, the thoughts we think whether positive or negative increase our experience and our reality.
If you are experiencing any of the symptoms described above, here are a few easy steps you can take to help increase your balance and well being:
- Start to sit quietly without internal or external distraction for 10 minutes or longer each day. (Also known as meditating:))
- Focus on positive affirmations
- If you find yourself thinking negative thoughts, literally change the channel (like on a TV) to a positive channel (thoughts)
- Look in the mirror and say "I Love You" at least once a day
- Remind yourself every day that You are a reflection of God, Spirit, and All That Is
- Know that the pulse of the Universal Life Force is flowing through you as it is all living things and you are no less than the moon and the stars that exist in the universe.
- Know that the more you learn to love yourself (and yes, it is a process), the more love you will have to share with others.

The Power of Thought and Positive Thinking
"What we need is not some greater power, but a greater consciousness. We need a deeper realization of life, a more sublime concept of being, a more intimate concept of an already in-dwelling God who is personal to us by virtue of being personified through us." - Centers for Spiritual Living
The Center for Spiritual Living supports global transformation through personal transformation, teaching people how to have a life that works. This philosophy encourages people to focus on WHAT to think, even more than how to think, and provides tools to help individuals put this into practice to transform their lives.
As Dr. Bruce Doyle explains in his book, How to Think Your Way to the Life You Want, "Thoughts or ideas may seem to reside in your head, but, in reality, each thought exists as a minute wave of energy called a thoughtform. A thoughtform is real - it exists. The mission of each thoughtform is to fulfill the intent of the thought - to carry out the thinker's desires or intentions."...This is why what we think and focus on is so important!
Again, what you think and believe manifests as your personal reality. Change your thinking, and you'll change your life.
As a metaphysical healer, one of the ways I work with clients is by teaching them how to change their thoughts to help produce a different reality in their lives. Another, deeper way to help my clients transform their lives quickly is by literally clearing emotional and physical issues they are still carrying with them at the deepest energetic level possible. And because we are all connected energetically, I am able to work effectively with clients all over the world. A client as far away as Hong Kong for example could feel me working on her heart and shoulder as her symptoms decreased, despite the 12 hour time difference! The Law of Cause and Effect runs through everything. There is an immutable law of cause and effect that applies not just to actions but to thought. As we think, so we create. By energetically clearing unresolved issues and past experiences that exist in your unconscious mind and your cellular memory, (the root causes of your beliefs), we can change your life permanently - frequently starting with your first session. I find that clients experience the greatest benefit when they work with me one month at a time. And because my work tends to be very short term and literally gets to the root of the problems, most clients I work with do not need to continue after 3 months! The work I do is liberating on a level you can't even imagine. So if you have not experienced my work yet, you can look forward to a major transformation in yourself and your life by the end of your first month working with me. |
