Last month (October) long distance metaphysical healer Ellie Pechet, M.Ed., interviewed on AZ TV's local morning talk show. She introduced the Pechet Healing Technique that draws from her 28 years of experience as a psychotherapist and intuitive energy healer. Responding to Changes in Our Lives 
When we hear the crunch of crispy leaves underfoot, or feel the bracing winds that have sent them soaring from the now bare tree limbs, we are getting ready for a passage of time, a seasonal transition that often conjures up inner feelings about how we see ourselves and others.
Sometimes, the loss of a loved one, seasonal affective disorder (SAD), or the prospect of gathering with family at the holidays can trigger a cascade of emotions that make it difficult to function with joy and alertness and an open heart at this time of year.
Signs of depression or stress can be temporary and improve with proper attention to personal care such as meditating, prayer work, taking daily walks, eating right, and getting enough sleep on a regular basis. Please consider calling me if you or a loved one are experiencing persistent or debilitating signs of stress or other symptoms of 'dis-ease' such as:
- anxious or racing thoughts,
- memory problems,
- inability to concentrate,
- feeling overwhelmed,
- you are irritable or angry on a regular basis,
- isolated and depressed,
- chest pain, rapid heartbeats,
- using alcohol, drugs, or cigarettes to relax or cope
Research suggests that people can often pull through one
or two major stress events, but experiencing even moderate stress over a longer time period can have destructive consequences on the body, mind and spirit.
