Submission Process
Every quarter, Builder Partnerships members submit reports on the number of homes they built during that period and identify the manufacturer programs they qualify for. To many builders, this can seem to be a daunting task and many production managers worry that it can be so much effort that the rebates received won't be worth it.
Without getting into the philosophy of needing to find every penny a builder can in this tough economy, this article outlines the very simple steps builders need to execute to receive substantial rebates. (Many of our builders achieve rebates of more than $2000 per house.)

Question: How do you make sure you have the best sales representation possible?

Answer: We used to say sales training, but in today's market, it goes deeper than that. It really starts with the quality and deliverables of the salesperson representing you. In short, can they outsell the market? Can they cut through the lethargy of the buyer, create urgency, and close? It has been documented that the typical sales staff is rated a C to C+ in selling or just a tad above market average. Some sales staffs are Ds, or unacceptable. The answer to the sales staff conundrum is to go the extra mile and have the best possible talent. Look for positive mental attitude, trainability, and work ethic. Give them a proven process, some form of sales supervision, a lot of motivation, and let them perform. Read more...

The Phoenix housing market is on fire, driven by strong economic growth, once in a generation affordability levels, and a surge in investment activity that far surpasses the levels during the housing boom. Once considered to be at ground zero of the housing market collapse, Phoenix has orchestrated a dramatic turnaround in recent months and has considerably outpaced other distressed markets such as Las Vegas, Riverside-San Bernardino and Sacramento. Phoenix was one of the hardest hit housing markets during the bust, with home values declining 57% from 2006 through mid-2011.
