Comics Crack Up Crowd at the 10th Annual MyBindi Comedy Night! |
Fans enjoyed a hilarious evening Sept. 21st at the 10th Annual MyBindi Comedy Night - with two back-to-back shows inside Projection Booth - hosted by MyBindi and presented by Chevrolet.
To start off the night, the comics were greeted by enthusiasts as they each rolled up to the venue, one-by-one, in a black 2012 Chevrolet Equinox. Even some of the guests felt like celebrities posing for photos infront of a white 2012 Chevrolet Cruze decked in 'MyBindi' style that was parked outside the venue for the entire duration of the event. How's that for a car?
Now hyped up for the evening ahead, both the comics and fans were in for a 'good good night'!
Showcasing both Canadian and international talent, the impressive line-up included five funny and edgy comedians: Suneet Luthra, Aastha Lal, Crystal Ferrier, host Dave Merheje and headliner Vidur Kapur, one of the original "Gurus of Comedy". Click HERE to read more and view event photos! |
MIND MANTRA ~ A Holiday From My Thoughts? |
Take a vacation from your thinking style! We all know that going away somewhere different is always a good thing. Taking a holiday from your usual thinking style is a great thing! It can lead to new possibilities and approaches to challenging situations.
Think of someone you have always admired. It could be someone in your life that you look up to; or it could be a character from a film or a book. When you are confronted with a challenge, ask yourself how this other person would react. What would he/she say and do? Research shows that often behaviour changes first; the thinking style may change after. Click HERE to read more. |
TRAVEL THALI ~ Thailand: the people |
Interviewing David Letterman once on his PBS show, Charlie Rose asked what the best part of fame was. That people treated him well, Letterman answered. That people treated him the way people should treat each other all the time: with respect and courtesy.
My second evening in Bangkok, I commented to my nephew that I had spent the entire day without witnessing one single incident of anger or impatience or rudeness. It was a day I had spent at Siam Square: a downright mad shopping area which included four malls ranging from MBK, which was basically five floors of bazaars in a futuristically-designed building, to Paragon, which housed the familiar upscale stores: Louis Vuitton, Prada, Armani, D & G. On the streets in between these malls were street vendors of every possible thing imaginable that was cheap and expendable, plus, of course, food carts, food stalls and restaurants. Exercise Does a Body (and Mind) Good!
Believe it or not, I am one of those people that actually like to exercise. I love the challenge, the physical feeling and the ability to often think much more clearly while I'm engaged in some form of exercise. It wasn't always that way - but over the past few years physical activity was definitely a part of my life.

Heroine: Movie Preview
The spotlight followed her, the camera loved her, the paparazzi couldn't get enough of her... Mahi Arora was a 'Superstar'... in every sense of the word!
Not only was she on top of her game, she was also single, fancy free and footloose. She was beautiful, famous, successful and very, very rich and of course still young. In short, she was a case of pure perfection.
As kids prepare to head back to the classroom, many parents are already dreading the task of coming up with healthy snacks for kids to pack to school. Snacks are an important part of any child's back to school menu. A no-snacking policy - at school and home - can undermine a child's energy, mood and overall development.
