Tip of the Month |
|
GET YOUR CEO INVOLVED!
The best campaigns are those where the CEO is intimately involved. Here are a few ideas for making the best use of your CEO during your campaign:
- Seek your CEO's personal endorsement for the
campaign.
- Ask your CEO to be visibly engaged.
- Ask your CEO about a Corporate Gift.
- Enlist your CEO to endorse Leadership giving ($1,000 or more) by hosting a Leadership meeting.
- Ask your CEO to appoint a Senior Manager to act as the Leadership Giving Chair.

New ECM Guide |

But you have to go to training to get it!
Although new ECM Guides will be posted on our web site soon, come to one of our ECM training sessions instead - you don't want to miss our training this year! Advance copies of our ECM guides, electronic envelopes and campaign materials are loaded onto a special flash drive, which you will get at training. If you have any questions, call Wendy Bennett at 423-752-0370. |

Our Work in Building Stable Lives |
|
Did you Know? Thriving families who can support themselves put less strain on community services and mean more people are contributing to our local economy! Here are some of our results in Building Stable Lives:
- 3,231 callers were referred to VITA/EITC sites for free tax assistance, which brought more than $3.7 million into our area. This was an 86% increase in referrals over 2008.
- Families progressing in our Building Stable Lives pilot program have increased their income by an average of more than $1,400 over the last nine months.
