ACE VolunteersIt is hard to believe that the 11th United Way Frank McDonald Golf Classic is here already.  I hope you are ready for another fantastic day at one of America's premiere golf courses.
 
We will have at least 30 teams playing at the Honors, so expect to have a great course experience.  
 
In addition to our presenting sponsors-- Coca Cola, BI-LO and Chattanooga Times Free Press-- I also want to thank Golf Headquarters, Beasley Distributing and Kelly Auto Group for once again joining our tournament as supporting sponsors.  
 
I especially want to thank all of those companies who fielded teams this year. You have stepped up to serve a greater purpose--helping United Way of Greater Chattanooga support critical social programs that help thousands of people each year.

WEATHER NOTE: In the event of severe weather, the tournament may be postponed. To find out the status of play on tournament day, call the Honors Pro Shop at (423) 238-9123.  Normally, the rain date is scheduled on the following Monday.

Prizes galore await!  
From tee favors to #8, there are plenty of ways you can win! 
 
GMC Sierra Hybrid 4WD
Lots of prizes will be up for grabs this Monday at the Classic.  For example, Kelly Auto Group will once again offer an array of great prizes for anyone lucky enough to score an ace during the classic.  The grand prize on #8 this year will be a 2009 GMC Sierra 4WD Hybrid Crew Cab, which sports room for 6 and 338hp Hybrid V8 that scores an impressive 20 mpg.  It's a $40,000 value!
 
Also up for grabs are a set of PING Irons, a GPS navigation package and $500 on any of the other par 3 holes. 
 
Tee FavorOne thing everyone gets are great tee favors.  Among this years are a "Cool Tool Bag," (pictured at right) which includes a cap clip, ball marker and divot tool.
 
Feeling lucky?  Then enter the "Classic Raffle" where you could walk out with a set of Callaway X22 Irons.  BRING YOUR CASH AND BUSINESS CARDS TO ENTER!  Entries are $10 each or 3 for $25. 
 
Straight drivers, you could win a wedge from Golf Headquarters if you score the straightest drive on #11.
 
Also, all players are eligible for door prizes during lunch and evening receptions, and they are great!  So don't worry.  If you don't get a trophy, there are plenty of other ways to be a winner at the Classic!
