HOW DAVID LIVES UNITED
David Unruh
David started giving to United Way early in his professional career, because he was raised in a family that valued charity and stewardship. He believed it was just, "the right thing to do."  When we reach a hand out to one, we influence the condition of all. That's how you Live United.

Campaign Update
We've raised $5.7 million so far in our annual campaign, but we need your help to achieve our goal. With several local plant closings in North Georgia and giving in some Tennessee companies lower due to layoffs, donations may not reach the same level as last year.

Particularly this year, the need for basic services has increased at an alarming rate. Our 211 call center has made 46% more referrals during the first 9 months of 2008 than in the same period in 2007.

Please help. If you can give, donate online now or call Linda McReynolds at 423-752-0304 to find out how you can help us raise $11.9 million. Give Now...

You can direct your contribution to one of our three impact areas -Education, Stability and Support - or choose the unrestricted community fund.
