Say "THANK YOU" - Wrapping up your campaign |

Saying "thank you" to your co-workers for their United Way participation is one of the most critical campaign activities to accomplish. Did you know that when people are thanked that they are 70% more likely to participate next time? Consider these tips for successfully wrapping up your employee campaign:
- Try to finish your campaign as early as possible before the holidays, to be sure everyone gets a chance to be involved. October 31 is a great target date!
- Collect all pledge cards from your employees and turn in to your payroll department promptly.
- Plan a thank-you event to celebrate your campaign's success. Hold prize drawings for campaign participants.
- Send a letter from your CEO announcing your company's campaign results and thank every employee for their contributions of time, effort and money.
- Schedule a wrap-up meeting with your Loaned Executive or staff to collect the campaign summary.
- Ask current contributors to increase their gift.
Hold special events for Leadership Giving investors and prospects, like a pancake breakfast or a special luncheon
