Dear youth and parents,
I'm on vacation this week at Oak Island, North Carolina with my family, so I'll make my introduction brief. Read on for info about 8th grade youth leaving for camp, a CYF outing to Granbury for a drive-in movie, camp dates for summer of 2013, and more!

High School youth head to drive-in movie next Friday ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~
From Jessica Vacketta, Assistant Minister for High School:
UCC's high school youth will be traveling to Granbury next Friday, July 13 to watch a movie at the Brazos Drive-In. The group will meet at UCC at 7:30 p.m. to carpool to Granbury and should return around 11:30. Participants will need $5 (plus money for the snack bar) and a lawn chair or blanket is recommended. RSVP by Wednesday, July 11 so we have enough drivers.
PARENTS: We need adults to serve as drivers/chaperones for the event. If you're willing and able to do so, contact me at jessica@uccftw.com.

2013 summer camp dates now available!

The Disciples Crossing camp board met recently and finalized summer camp dates for 2013. A quick rundown is below, or you can click here for a more detailed list that includes tentative mission trip dates as well.
