Dear youth and parents,

We're gearing up for the Back-to-School Retreat tonight and I'm excited about what's in store for this weekend.  I'll look forward to seeing many of you there, and others after we return for Sunday school and church on Sunday.

Several people have asked what will happen now that Anna Ross has concluded her tenure as Assistant Minister for Chi Rho.  I'm happy to share that I have already received several resumes for the position from promising candidates, and I hope to begin conducting interviews next week.  Stay tuned for an update on the process and I'll look forward to sharing news when there is news to share!

Grace and Peace,
Russ

50 youth entering grades 6-12 and 9 adults will be meeting here at UCC at 7 p.m. for the annual Back-to-School Retreat.  Over the weekend our youth and adult sponsors and teachers will travel to Briarwood Retreat Center near Flower Mound for group building, prayer, fellowship, worship, small groups, and fun.

If you can't make the retreat but want one of the spiffy t-shirts you see in worship on Sunday morning, they're available for $10 each in three different colors.  Contact Sharyn at sharyn@uccftw.com to reserve one today.
