 Ignition in Quad Cities! Ignition Middle School Conference will be hosted at Christ UMC in East Moline, IL on Friday and Saturday, January 29-30, 2010. Students will enjoy music and worship led by Harvest Kale Uzzle (speaker), elective seminars, Ignition Blast entertainment, lunch, Friday night snack and recreation all included in the registration fee ($28 if registered before 1/18)!  Fire-Up Conference
Fire-Up Sr. High Conference will be hosted in Troy, IL on February 26-28, 2010. Marc Sikma is scheduled to be the main speaker and Harvest Worship Band will lead the music. New this year is more space added to the Troy United Methodist Church and a Saturday afternoon option of nine industrial grade inflatables! The theme for the weekend is Beyond.

The Light Kid's Conference
Parents, Preachers, Leaders and Teachers - The Light Kids Conference is one great opportunity to get the children in your church excited about Jesus and the faith. It also gives you an opportunity to build memories with the kids in your church outside of Sundays.
The theme for this year's event is REACH. We will be looking at three stories in scripture where someone reached out to Jesus and how Jesus reaches out to us!

Local Church Worship Team Consulting
I have loved when someone has come to our church and has shared how we might take the ministry up a notch. Through conversations, these leaders offer fresh perspectives  and thoughts that enhance our weekly worship ministry.
If your church worship team needs time to visit, grow, and think about moving up a notch, I would love to be a part of it!
We can tailor the time to fit your current situation - whether your needs are a music / worship leading workshop, community building, or conversations about the organizational side of worship teams.

 Potential Consulting Formats:1. Sunday morning / Sunday afternoon (Watch or participate in the morning service, have lunch together, and then meet with the team).
2. Saturday / Sunday (Session on Saturday, Sunday worship, and then a time to debrief).
3. Saturday morning session with the worship team.
4. Weekday Option: meet with worship team leader(s) during the day, then gather the whole team for an evening meeting.

Favorite Steakhouse
My brother Jedd recently told me about a conversation he had with a manager from Longhorn Steakhouse. During their discussion, the manager said, "If you want to be America's favorite steakhouse, you need to be your city's favorite steakhouse."
