Greetings!,
This morning, nearly 300 students streamed into the halls of Hope Academy for the first day of school, and we captured it on video! If you have about two minutes, I encourage you to watch it--it's very brief, and will give you a taste of the first day of school at Hope.
Our students are hoping you can join us for Partner Day on Thursday, September 23 from 11-1pm. If you haven't yet RSVPed, you can do so by responding to this e-mail and Dan Olson, Director of Development, will confirm receipt!
Just this morning, we thanked the Lord for your generosity in making a Christ-centered
education available to some of our city's poorest youth. We are humbled and emboldened by your support for this important work of raising up godly leaders for our city's future.
Trust the Lord with us that greater things are yet to come and greater things are still to be done in this city.
I hope to see you September 23rd!
Blessings in
Christ,
Russ
Gregg Head of School
NOTE: We are hoping for twenty more table hosts for our free fundraising dessert, "An Evening of Hope", on November 11, 2010. Learn more about the event and register to come or host a table by clicking here! Also, more than thirty students still don't have a Partner this year--click here to learn how you can help!
P.S. - If you haven't yet, do watch the first day of school video and be encouraged!
