Greetings!,

If you are free this morning, former U.S. education secretary Dr. Rod Paige will a guest on MPR's midmorning show today (Monday, Feb. 8) at 10:06am CST (FM 91.1). Dr. Paige is the author of The Black-White Achievement Gap: Why Closing It Is the Greatest Civil Rights Issue of Our Time. You can listen on-line here, and read about his work on his web site.

Closing the black-white achievement gap is central to our mission here at Hope. If you are new to these issues and to Hope, come see how Hope is addressing today's greatest civil rights issue at a Tour of Hope this Thursday, Feb. 11 from 12-1pm.
