JEFF RAVITZ LIGHTS UP THE
CATWALK
Jeff Ravitz (C72) was the
television lighting designer for the annual Macy's
Passport show. The
fashion extravaganza that raises millions for AIDS/HIV
awareness and research
was captured for broadcast on October 11, in high
definition, for NBC-TV, as
the "Macy's Celebrity Catwalk Challenge." The
show featured six stars being
trained as runway models to walk the same
stage as the professionals. The
full-scale actual fashion show was screened
in movie theatres nationwide on
October 23.

AFI NEW MEDIA FEST
American Film Institute is holding its annual new media festival November
6-7, and you are invited to attend. It is a free, two-day showcase of
innovative projects from TV networks, game studios, filmmakers, digital
producers, etc. Presenters include ABC.com, David Robinson (AFRO SAMURAI), Jesse
Alexander (HEROES), 42 Entertainment (Trent Reznor's YEAR ZERO) and the
