-The River of Health and
The Four Seasons of Health.                                                        -Weight  Re-balancing Program I continue to offer and see great results above and beyond simply weight loss with this medically supervised program.
-SMART Resolution Solutions, I have included some ideas to help make your resolutions Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic and Timely.
 

Old Fashioned Original Granola

Mix in a large bowl:
6 cups rolled oats
2 1/2 cups sunflower seeds
1 cup pumpkin seeds
1/4 cup sesame seeds
1 cup shredded unsweetened coconut
1 1/2 cups walnut pieces
2 cups sliced almonds
Additional ingredients:
1/2 cup canola oil
1/2 cup honey
1. Preheat oven to 250 degrees
2. Warm oil and honey in a pan on the stove.  Pour over granola and toss.
3. spread in two jelly roll pans.
4. Bake for 25 mins. Remove and stir.
5. Return to bowl and add 4 cups of raisins.
Toss to blend.
Store in a glass jar in the fridge.

This is a wonderful program for those or you who have reached your health goals, and wish to maintain your present level of wellness.  Seasonal tune-ups, including professional supervised cleanses, immunity building, natural bug repellents, travellers diarrhea, supplementation support, etc. are provided helping you remain on the right track to maintain your  health and vitality.
 
SMART Resolution Solutions
Ring out the Old year and Ring in the New  with hope, joy and peace.
January a time for renewal, a fresh start.  Many great ideas are formulated to improve the quality of our lives- weight loss, exercise, and budgeting are some common resolutions.  How often are these goals realized?  In the game of life there are many meaningful and purposeful resolutions which are beneficial and valuable, worthy of attaining.  Consider letting of old thoughts, habits, relationships, jobs, which are keeping you stuck.  Replace them, put  fresh thoughts, experiences and people into your life who will help you live the life you envision for yourself.
I like to use the SMART system for goal setting.
Specific- be as clear and defined as possible when setting your goals; 'exercise more' is too general, rather, 'schedule in my daytimer exercise Tuesday and Thursday for one hour', is more specific.
Meaningful-measurable is also applicable in the M file, but resolutions should hold meaning.  Do they reflect your life's highest purpose?  Core values such as family, relationships, career, health, education, peace of mind, pastimes and interests should be considered.  Brainstorm over a couple of days, discuss your list with others, write them down, discuss them,be clear.  Narrow your list down to 2 or 3 main objectives.
Achievable-are your goals attainable, for example, wanting to lose 30 pounds in a month is not reasonable, however losing 30 pounds in 6 months would be more realistic.  Have support systems in place to help monitor progress.  Break up the goal, 8 pounds a month could keep you motivated more easily than waiting till the 6 month point to feel successful. 
Realistic-do your resolutions fit into your lifestyle, or your present situation?  What obstacles could get in the way of success- weather, kids?  Create an action plan and block out the steps, be sure each step is realistic.  Getting up at 5 am to run 10 km is not realistic in January,  but doing 1/2 hour of planned activity daily could work.
Timely-establish a realistic time line. Too much too soon could be overwhelming and discouraging.  --the tortoise beat the rabbit!  Better to be slow and steady in making changes.  It takes 21 days to form a habit, so allow time to make the necessary adjustments!
 Quick fixes come and go but genuine lifestyle changes are what will make the difference longterm.
