Dear Friend,
Thank you for taking a few minutes to catch up on all Altonthat God is doing here at the Bend!  We have had a very good retreat season and especially in this economy, that is a true blessing!  Thank you to all the churches, group leaders and retreat guests who have chosen to come to Riverbend.

It's hard to believe, but Summer Camp starts on May 31st - two weeks from this Sunday!  We will have 18 full sessions of camp this summer and are praying for a spiritual harvest!

As always, there are a number of projects still to be completed.  If you know of someone that can put in a day or two to volunteer, we could sure use the help!

We covet your prayers as we enter another summer camp season.  Please pray for the campers, counselors and staff - for safety, for an open heart to God and for His will to be done in each life.

In Jesus, Rejoicing,

Wet Willie

The New "Wet Willie" Water Slide is waiting for you!

- Can you say, "Wet Willie Water Slide" real fast four times without getting tongue tied?

- Can you ride down the 100 foot slide without feeling one of the greatest rushes ever?

- Can you break the world record of 3.76 seconds going down a 100' slide?

Well...Can you?  Prove it at the Bend this Summer!

Super Swing  Note:  Riverbend campers will be wearing life jackets at all Waterfront Activities.

  • Introducing the "Super Swing!"  A trapeze swing adventure that starts on a 14 foot platform, a thrill ride in the middle and ends with a big splash!

  • New WaterfrontAlong with a new 60' long tower, complete with awning for shade, the other new activity is the 100' "Flying Fox" Zip Line into the water.  What a screamer that will be!  Along with these, add the two blobs, two icebergs and a reconditioned swimming area with basketball goals and water volleyball and the Waterfront will definitely be the place to be for recreation time this summer!

  • Thanks to ALL the Friends of the Bend and volunteers who made these new activities possible for our campers.  I hope you can come see it first hand this summer - or better yet, come and try them out!

  • Pray for Riverbend Summer Staff
