    Groundbreaking for New Prayer Garden

You are invited to attend this special service on Saturday, Septmeber 22nd at 10am. Through a gift from Howard and Sue Schutt, Riverbend is breaking ground on a new prayer garden to be built between the Office Courtyard and the Brazos River bluff. This new area will provide a wonderful place to spend time with the Lord and with one another.

Join us as we dedicate this prayer garden to the Lord and rejoice in how He will use this for His glory! Lunch will be served at 12 noon. Please call by Thursday, the 20th to let us know you would like to eat lunch.

    "Friends of the Bend"

Be a part of the legacy of Christian Camping at Riverbend. Riverbend is one of a few camps and conferences that is able to cover all operational expenses with guest and camper fees. This means that all donations go towards improvements. In addition to the Extreme Makeover, there are a number of projects that needs funds. Would you consider making a one time gift or an ongoing monthly gift as many of our families are doing? Just $10 per month makes a big difference as we all make a commitment to give. The Riverbend office can set up a monthly automatic withdrawal or we will be happy to send you envelopes and forms to mail in. You can also now give online using a credit card.

Plan Now for Fall and Spring Retreats

    Summer 2007...A Record-Breaking Summer!

What a great summer we had at Riverbend! Attendance was the highest in the 40 year history as 9,587 campers and counselors attended camp. There were 631 professions of faith, 447 rededications and 42 commitments to full time ministry.

We are grateful to all the church leaders who gave of their time and talents to lead these camps. Riverbend Staff did a great job in ministering to all the campers. We give God all the glory!
