Greetings!
Welcome to our March installment, and thank you for taking time out of your day to take a look.
We are pleased to announce, in this issue, that Pohanka Collision Center of Chantilly, Va., is CCAR's first-ever "GreenLink Shop." We also want to reiterate our great thanks to GEICO for all its assistance in promoting this program to its ARX facilities [such as Pohanka of Chantilly]. You'll also read about Midas International Corporation, one of CCAR's original customers for S/P2. We salute Midas, too, for its commitment to environmental and safety awareness.
There are some exciting changes in the works for S/P2, so be on the lookout for more information from CCAR in the coming days.
Regards,
DAREN FRISTOE

Earth Day - Thursday, April 22 - is fast approaching, and this national event will mark its 40th anniversary this year. Progress has been made to improve our environment, but more can be done. It is important to take time to consider what you can do as an individual, a community member, a business leader in assisting in environmental change. It doesn't have to be challenging: it can mean switching out all the light bulbs in the facility to energy-efficient compact florescent bulbs. Or taking time with your family, home or work to clean-up the where street you live or work. If you need ideas, the U.S. EPA has a web site That can help. |
