across the United States and Canada on Wednesday, May 6 for a unique online event, "Protecting Workers on the Job Means Sending them Home Safe." This free web expo offers you the opportunity to learn from industry experts without leaving your desk, including live Q&A sessions, chats and messaging to make the event truly interactive.
Co-hosted by the American Red Cross, the Canadian Red Cross and StayWell, this live online event is offers vital workplace emergency preparedness and safety information, and serves as a keynote of North American Occupational Safety and Health (NAOSH) Week. Timely, topical workplace safety and emergency preparedness information from industry experts - including representatives from the U.S. Department of Labor, Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), the American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE), the American Red Cross and the Canadian Red Cross - will be presented during five free webcasts scheduled throughout the day (10 a.m. to 6 p.m. EDT). Webcast topics range from injury prevention in the workplace to maintaining a safety culture in a recession. There's also an online Exhibit Hall to learn about services and products that can keep your workplace safe and productive.
Continuing Education Units Available Professionals with license and/or certification requirements can attend the event and receive continuing education units (CEUs), made possible by the Authorized Provider designation recently awarded to the American Red Cross by the International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET).
