Managing Change
Recognizing the Challenges; Seizing the Opportunities

At Peace Learning Center, we find that change can be one of the most challenging processes, for individuals or for organizations. That's why our Leadership Series will kick off in October with a session on change management

With shifts in demographics, the rapid adoption of technology and economic ups and downs,

business and nonprofit organizations must take a serious look at managing change. Individuals benefit greatly when they learn new skills and perspectives for processing change, too.

Recognizing both the fact that change is, indeed, a constant and the reality that people are often unprepared to deal with change, we are excited to offer our October 11 workshop Managing Change

In this session, participants will learn about a tool that we have used internally and with other organizations - the Change Curve.  In addition to considering the habits that help individuals and groups to move through change, the Change Curve will help participants understand the process of change and why people process change in different ways and at different rates.

The session provides essential skills that professionals can use to move through the challenges of change and to arrive at the opportunity that change provides.

Reserve your spot today to prepare yourself for change or get ready to support a team through a significant change process.

Speaking of change, this session will mark John McShane's first in his new role as Director of Community Partnerships. John's new responsibilities include the Leadership Series, so please contact him with any questions!
