Introducing the AMP Rating System ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Athlete?s Arena & SCVarsity.com are proud to
introduce AMP, the most concise rating of
athleticism available! With one of the most complex
formula?s on the market, the AMP system
measures the power, strength, speed, agility, motion,
and explosion of an athlete and calculates this data
against height, weight, and position. We will be
using
the AMP rating system to measure
athleticism at our combines and facility. Scores are
also used for SCVarsity.com's player/prospect
rankings!

Columbia Area Football Coaches' Association Clinic ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Athlete's Arena & SCVarsity.com were proud to co-
sponsor the Columbia Area Football Coaches'
Association Clinic held at Brookland-Cayce High
School on January 26-27, where some of the most
knowledgable and experienced proessionals in South
Carolina presented offensive, defensive, strength
and agility sessions. Our very own Josh Ortegon,
Sports Performance Specialist, discussed Off-Season
Training: Tips for an efficient off-season training
program, and Jim Baxter of SCVarsity.com joined him
in introducing the AMP rating system (aforementioned
in previous article). It was our pleasure to be in the
company of such accomplished football authorities!

fitness professionals from across the nation.

room making it the largest football only college
weight room in the nation! ?This is the best football
weight room in America,? said Bill Gillespie, head
