The Children’s Museum is turning twenty-six years young on Saturday, June 2, and we want you to join the fun! For over a quarter century, the Children’s Museum has been a place where children and their families can play, laugh, learn, and grow.
Come help us blow out our birthday candles and enjoy a piece of cake (while supplies last) while watching one of two performances by children’s entertainer, Jacques Chenier! The birthday party crafts and activities run from 11:00AM - 3:00PM.
Cube Your Enthusiasm

Writer George Bernard Shaw once said, "We don’t stop playing because we grow old; we grow old because we stop playing." And he was right; as adults, we just don’t play enough. Thankfully though, we can now change that.
Join us for your chance to be a kid again at Cube Your Enthusiasm - a unique fun-draising event hosted by John and Bonnie Buhler in support of the Children’s Museum’s work with kids and families in our community. Fuel your inner child as you explore the museum’s galleries while enjoying an evening of great food (courtesy of The Gates on Roblin), entertainment, and fundraising activities.

You and Your Child: Partners In Play
The Children’s Museum is home to 12 exciting galleries that spark kids’ creative learning. These galleries present a world of possibilities for children and caregivers who enjoy visiting the Children’s Museum. Unlike the no-touch exhibits at other museums, our galleries are always ready for hands-on fun!
At the Children’s Museum, we believe that the role accompanying adults play in their child’s visit is what helps to make the museum trip a fun, engaging, and meaningful experience. Children will often look to adults for cues and support in ways to interact with their environment.
To help guests navigate the museum space to its fullest potential, each month we’ll explore one of the museum’s galleries in more detail. We’ll share our visitors’ top ten list of favourite things to do in that gallery and we’ll also explore some products that are available in Shop that can extend your museum experience and help keep kids learning even after they leave.

Through daily interactions with kids and observing them interact with others, the staff at the Children’s Museum continually see ways in which adults can show kids that they care. We are confident these interactions help build the foundation for kids to succeed.
