Explore a Winnipeg holiday tradition! The Children’s Museum is pleased to present the last original Eaton’s Fairytale Vignettes display from the ninth floor annex of Eaton’s downtown store - fully restored and open to the public for a limited time only.
Visitors of all ages will be enthralled with the spirit of the season invoked by fun, fairytale vignettes, including classics like Cinderella, Humpty Dumpty, Three Blind Mice and more. A visit to Eaton’s Fairytale Vignettes display is a holiday experience for all generations.

Mini Mondays
Mondays at the Children’s Museum are very special days! Every Monday from 10:00AM to 2:00PM we tailor crafts and activities to suit the needs of our youngest visitors. Join us this month when we will be offering special guided crafts, activities, and story times designed for toddlers.

Through daily interactions with kids and observing kids interact with others, the staff at the Children’s Museum continually see ways in which adults can show kids that they care. We are confident these interactions help build the foundation for kids to succeed.
Every month, our staff would like to share some of the ways we believe we can show kids that we care about them.
December’s List
- Take them seriously.
- When they tell you something new they have learned, be really impressed.
- Support their beliefs (for example: Santa Claus).
- Make a big deal out of small feats.
- Leave them special notes.

Online Auction Recap
Thank you to all our item donors and to all the auction bidders who took part in the 3rd Annual Online Auction in support of the Children’s Museum. The grand total raised by this auction was $8,225! All event proceeds will support the Children’s Museum’s Free2Play Access Program that provides free visits and programming to underprivileged children in our community and will also support educational programming for our 135,000+ annual visitors. Keep an eye out for another Online Auction in 2012!
Way Off Broadway Recap
The Children’s Museum would like to extend a sincere thank you to the 9 amateur dance teams who helped to raise $16,000 at the 6th Annual Way Off Broadway in support of the Children’s Museum - great job everyone!

Congratulations to the 2011 Way Off Broadway Dance Champions - Sobeys Mod Squad! Not only were they crowned this year’s champs, but they also won Top Fundraising Group for their hard work and fundraising efforts.
