The 3rd Annual Online Auction is now open! Visit the Online Auction website from now until November 24, 2011 for your chance to bid on great one-of-a-kind items and services. All event proceeds will support the Children’s Museum’s Free2Play Access Program that provides free visits and programming to underprivileged children in our community and will support educational programs for our 135,000+ annual visitors.

Way Off Broadway Dance Extravaganza

Join us at Pantages Playhouse Theatre on November 20, 2011 to support the 6th Annual Way Off Broadway Dance Extravaganza! All proceeds raised through this competition will benefit the Children’s Museum Free2Play Access Program. Groups of friends, family, and co-workers have been rehearsing for countless hours in anticipation of the big day.
Hosted by CityTV’s Jeremy John and Drew Kozub, teams will compete in front of celebrity judges Bubba B (HOT103), Heather Steele (Global Television), and Tracy Koga (Shaw TV) for Most Original Performance, Most Enthusiastic Performance, Best Costume, Audience Choice, Top Fundraising Team, Powerhouse Team, and, of course, the coveted title of 2011 Dance Champions.

Calling all grandparents! Join us for the special Grand Holiday Tea – exclusively for grandparents and grandkids. Share the tradition of the Eaton’s Fairytale Vignettes display from your childhood with a new generation of children and enjoy tea (in real tea cups!) and treats before embarking on a tour of the vignettes. Special holiday crafts, live musical entertainment, and Santa himself make this an enjoyable event for toddlers and grandparents alike.

This highly-anticipated annual event at the Children’s Museum is piled high with tons of unusual fun! Guests will enjoy a non-traditional spaghetti breakfast followed by guided crafts and a tour of the Eaton’s Fairytale Vignettes display that will make this a day to remember. And shhh, don’t tell anyone but we’ve heard that Santa will be surprising us with a visit, and one lucky family will even get to share a table with him!

Top Hats & Tiaras

Finish the holidays on a high note and dress up in formal clothes for an afternoon out on the town! This family-friendly New Year’s Eve event will feature tasty snacks, special activities, a ginger ale toast, and a festive balloon drop as we ring in the New Year at noon! Mini Mondays
Mondays at the Children’s Museum are very special days! Every Monday from 10:00AM to 2:00PM we tailor crafts and activities to suit the needs of our youngest visitors. Join us this month when we will be offering special guided crafts, activities, and story times designed for toddlers.
