I would like to give everyone a challenge as we move into the month of independence. Our country was built on blood, sweat, and a strong belief in God. Our young men and women in the military are doing just that as we read this. We need to put aside our differences and stand behind them.
When I was growing up my father served in the United States Air Force and the Air National Guard. He was stationed at McGuire Air Force Base, NJ. I have a deep sense of pride for our country that I know came from my father's dedication to our military and our country. He was proud to be an American as we all should be.

Summer Skin
Summer is here most people know about using sunscreen is essential but knowing and doing are always two different things. Here are some Sunscreen Facts you may not know:
Wear sunscreen every day if you will be outside for more than 20 minutes, even when it's cloudy.
Sunscreen should be applied 15 to 30 minutes before going outdoors, and reapplied every two hours or after swimming or sweating.
Don't skimp; Once ounce---enough to fill a shot glass---is considered the amount needed to properly cover exposed skin.
Limit your exposure to sunlight from 10am - 4pm during Daylight Savings Time ( 9am - 3pm during standard time) when the sun's rays are the strongest and most harmful.
When choosing a sunscreen, look for one with an SPF of 15 or higher that provides broad-spectrum coverage against all ultraviolet light wavelengths.
Throw our old bottles of sunscreen, which can lose strength after three years.
