Dear Balloon Industry Member,
The International Balloon Association has been in existence since 1989 to promote the balloon industry. IBA's Board of Directors are excitedly working on plans for 2012 with a renewed sense of purpose to pull the industry together like never before. IBA Marketing Committee has developed phenomenal programs that help to brand our industry and create awareness to the public. These programs will continue to gain momentum in 2012 and beyond. Education Committee is working to build programs to continually strengthen the industry as well and offers many resources on the IBA Web site already. The IBA Board is totally focused on bringing value to you the member and awareness of the magic of balloons to the buying public. The Board is also focused on the fact that our industry is facing a confluence of challenges which we will have a much better chance of championing if we band together. Those immediate issues are:
- Mounting pressures in many states to ban foil balloon sales and balloon launches
- Tight helium supply and dramatically increasing helium prices
IBA is where the industry turns when issues regarding helium or balloon legislation occur. IBA is there in the good times and the bad - working for the industry. Please join us as we collaborate as an industry in 2012 to make the IBA an ever more effective resource to our members and and the public by joining or renewing your membership today.

The International Balloon Association (IBA) is a network of manufacturers, distributors, decorators, retailers, and entertainers who believe in keeping the Balloon Industry safe, financially sound and steadfast for the enjoyment of current and future generations. The IBA provides leadership and guidance on behalf of the industry.
