IBA has declared the month of September to be International Balloon Month!

Be sure to call your favorite distributor to order your promotionally priced Smiley Face balloons!

Entertainers:

Call on customers and book gigs. Create a spectacle! How bout a Youtube video or a flash mob?

Retailers:

Put up signs, wear buttons, involve store associates, create a special "Smiley Face" event, and get customers excited and sell more balloons!

Decorators:
Deliver "Smiley Face" bouquets to Special Surprise Recipients with local TV news station coverage! Put out a press release.....get some attention for your company!

Balloon And Party Industry Alliance (BAPIA) is rolling out The Green Balloon Campaign to coincide with International Balloon Month! Read all about the efforts of balloon artists in the UK to educate the public about latex and the environment.

Balloon Artists & Suppliers Association of Australia (BASA A) announced International Balloon Month in their latest newsletter and are urging their members throughout Australasia to take advantage of this new balloon holiday! BASA A is also preparing for their big bi-annual convention in 2012!

The European Balloon Council (EBC) was formed in 2002 to represent the interests of manufacturers of latex balloons to combat negative legislation in eastern europe. EBC now includes foil balloons and party goods representatives in their membership. Read the latest EBC Newsletter.

2400 balloon retailers and decorators were mailed a 50 ct. bag of balloon weights from The Balloon Council courtesy of Premium Balloon Accessories and/or Control Plastics in August! Information about International Balloon Month and reminders to individually weight helium-filled foil balloons were included with each bag of weights!
