Dear Colleagues,
I wanted to take a moment of your time to keep you informed on the latest happenings from your industry association.

A good bit of the work is completed within committees now which has increased our ability to accomplish more directives within each Board's term.  It also brings a wider wealth of knowledge to the work, ensuring that the efforts spent will be appreciated and valuable to a broader portion of our membership base.
With all of these industry volunteers, we are able to stay focused on three critical focus points from your Board: Education, Marketing, and Annual Conference.
Without the IBA, guidelines would not exist specifically for balloon decorators with respect to their use of photos online. There would be no effort to build a national marketing compaign (BRING BALLOONS) and no Conference providing beneficial networking and business education seminars.  There would be no gatekeeper of information answering questions from the industry, about the industry, for the industry.
Much of the work is done behind the scenes but please know IBA is a year-round engine working for each of us that earns a living in balloons.
I thank you for your support and hope you will take a moment to read about the work happening now in each committee.

Warm Regards,
Elissa Mast
IBA President

The IBA Marketing Committee has developed the "Bring Balloons" campaign to promote balloons for all occasions. The "Bring Balloons" slogan and logo is available to anyone in the industry with suggested usage on business cards, posters, print ads, banners, and as a tagline in every email signature!

  • In the dog house? Bring Balloons!
  • Want to express your love? Bring Balloons!
  • Did you say party? Bring Balloons!
  • Celebrating straight A's? Bring Balloons!
  • Need a smile? Bring Balloons!

IBA encourages you to use the logo in creative ways and show us how you've used it. Visit Bring Balloons on the IBA Web site for more information on the "Show Us Your Logo" promotion and email Marty@ibaonline.net to receive the Hi-Rez logo.

"I think it's important to be an IBA member. With the challenges we've had the last six months like the economy, the California Balloon Law issue and unstable fuel costs - it's actually crucial to be involved and keep IBA watching out for our industry's best interests."
