International Balloon Association Would Like to Remind You To:

Use Smart Balloon Practices
It is recommended by The Balloon Council to use Smart Balloon Practices when selling helium-filled metallic balloons. Accidental power outages and litter caused by errant balloons are a concern for everyone in the industry and Smart Balloon Practices require the individual weighting of metallic balloons to prevent escape. As responsible members of the balloon community it is our duty and obligation to follow these guidelines and to take care to educate our customers on the importance of "hanging on" to their purchases. Encouraging Smart Balloon Practices now will insure the continued enjoyment of balloons for future generations to come.

Did You Know?

There is now retail labeling available to support individual weighting of metallic balloons. This label will soon be found on balloon weight packaging from Control Plastics and Premium Balloon Accessories, our partners in the use of Smart Balloon Practices.
