Kelly Tippens Bio: Kelly Tippens was first introduced to the film industry in 1998 when she was asked to stand in for Sandra Bullock in Forces of Nature.  After spending 3 months on set with an amazing crew, unlimited food, and exotic locations, she thought, "This is paradise! I want to do this forever." However, she soon learned that most sets are a far cry from paradise...but it was too late, her love affair with the film industry had begun.

A huge majority of commercial auditions these days plus many major film and TV auditions require the actor to improv as part of the audition process.

So it's very important for all actors to periodically brush up on those skills and make sure they are top notch!

Which is why TAS periodically offers vignette type 3 week improv classes at a hugely discounted price so actors can supplement their regular acting classes with improv!

each class is different. And improv is about practicing over and over in order to be able to respond and think on your feet in every situation that comes up.

In this seminar, Nicolle Campbell will teach the actor specific strategies for finding auditions, networking, building your rosters of contacts, and cultivating those contacts into a working business relationships. "I will take my 15 + years of industry knowledge and give it to performers so they can take charge of their own careers," says Actor's Scene owner Nicolle Campbell. "I have learned so many strategies and tips that I am willing to share so that others in this industry can use my knowledge as a shortcut and not have to waste time learning them!"

According to Campbell, taking charge of your own career is a vital step in the formula to success. It benefits the actor in so many ways and puts them on a faster track then just simply trying to get an agent and then waiting for the agent to call. The seminar will include information on paid and non paid castings, where to find them, how to keep knowledgeable in the industry in Georgia, developing relationships and how to keep them going, marketing yourself and being your own publicist plus a whole lot more.

This process is good for both people who have an agent, and for those who don't! And even if you have an agent, the more you book on your own, the more experience you gain and the more valuable you become to your agent. So it's a win/win all the way around.
