Ah, fall, warm days, crisp cool nights and the forest coming alive with brilliant colors. Come enjoy our festivals, food, entertainment and the beauty of the outdoors. Outside Magazine just recognized us as one their top 10 adventure burgs in the nation!
Next stop Leavenworth! Amtrak's Empire Builder Line that runs from Chicago to Seattle has added a new stop on the route, US! Our inaugural stop is September 25--come join us! |

Beautiful Handmade Quilts & Vendors
Each year Leavenworth welcomes quilters, with quilts displayed in shops throughout town starting on Wednesday. The finale takes place in the Festhalle on Friday with the award winning quilts, demonstrations and vendors. Everyone is welcome to enter a quilt in the Leavenworth Quilt Show. Local Featured artist: Jill Therriault from Wenatchee, and Guest artist: Marilyn Doheny from Seattle.
Festhalle Hours: 10:00 am to 6:00 pm Friday and Saturday,
10:00 am to 4:00 pm Sunday. $5.00 admission all 3 days. Information: 509-548-5311

Each year as a fundraiser Cascade Medical Center Foundation picks beautiful custom homes in the Leavenworth area for the tour. All proceeds benefit Cascade Medical Center's mammography equipment digital upgrade. Time: 12pm - 5pm Location: Various homes around Leavenworth

Come Celebrate the Return of the Salmon
Join us for a return of the salmon education and adventure celebration. It's fun for all ages and it's FREE. Come and take part in the many inter-generational hands-on activities, interactive exhibits, wildlife "edu-tainment", music, art, and experience a meaningful cultural exchange with Native Americans in their encampment. Washington State Autumn Leaf Festival September 25-27 |

Parades, Food Booths, Entertainment & Fall Foliage
We pull out all the stops to celebrate fall. Come see for yourself: yodeling, live music, dancing in the street, a Grand Parade with floats and marching bands from around the State, Bavarian Dancers, a used book sale, food booths, climbing walls, inflatable toys for the kids, along with a bazaar and an all you can eat breakfast at the Lions Club Park on Saturday and Sunday morning.
