Our Luncheon/RSVP Policy is that attendees pre-register for all chamber luncheons, regular monthly luncheons as well as Women In Business luncheons. When you pre-register, we are better able to plan with the restaurants we are dealing with for the right amount of meals. Pre-registration (RSVP) must be done 3 business days prior (Friday noon for a Wednesday luncheon) and walk-ins will not be able to be accommodated. Some luncheons require earlier response. Member Fee for a regular luncheon is $25 and non-members are $30 pre-paid. Cancellation and no-shows will be charged $25. Payment will be expected in advance or at the door; no invoicing available. Some luncheons with other groups or special events may have different fees. We do appreciate your consideration and cooperation on this policy. Please call Luanne Triolo Newman if you have any further questions on this matter (630) 665-3325.

AUGUST UPDATE
 Carol Stream Chamber Logo
We have learned that chamber members are pretty darn busy during the month of August. This is the reason we have purposely not planned a luncheon or After Hours this month. See below for the ribbon cutting and August 30th multi-chamber legislative event info.

And enjoy the 'final month' of summer!

They are located at 317 S. Schmale, Carol Stream, just south of St. Charles Road on the east side of Schmale.
WOMEN IN BUSINESS NEWS

What Women Want Expo Sept 28thThe Women In Business committee is gearing up for the September 28th expo, famously known as the "What Women Want" Expo, held from 10am to 3pm at the Holiday Inn & Suites. Did you sign up for a booth? Don't delay - sign up today! Be a part of what women want -- chocolate, shopping pampering, inspiration (and a few other things).

This is the 5th year we've held this B-to-C expo where the community can learn more about your business, and you can network with other business professionals, too.

ROCS leads group

ROCS (Referral Organization of Carol Stream) has moved! This networking leads group is now holding their meetings at Mapleberry Pancake House, 1276 Army Trail Road, Carol Stream (at Kuhn Road).

Is a leads group for you? Would you welcome others 'working' for you, as you in turn 'work' for them? ROCS is a category-exclusive group, meaning they have one of each business type, so there is only one to recommend to your business associates.

Stop by on the first or third Wednesday of each month from 7:30am to 9:00am to see if ROCS is for you.
