Luncheon RSVP Policy
The chamber Luncheon Policy dated July 11, 2008 which requires attendees to pre-register for all chamber luncheons, regular monthly luncheons as well as Women In Business luncheons. When you pre-register, we are better able to plan with the restaurants we are dealing with for the right amount of meals. Pre-registration (RSVP) must be done 3 business days prior (Friday noon for a Wednesday luncheon) and walk-ins will not be able to be accommodated. Cost for member lunch will be $25 and non-members are $30 pre-paid. Cancellation and no-shows will be charged $25. Payment will be expected in advance or at the door; no invoicing available. | CHAMBER SUMMER NOTES |
Thank you to those who attended the Healthcare Forum this week in Addison. We had 24 of the 100+ in attendance, as Congressman Peter Roskam 'opened'. There was a panel of five addressing legislation on Healthcare.  July 1st is the deadline for Women In Business Expo Sponsors to be included in the Postcard. If you would like to sponsor this exciting and PINK September 22nd event, why not do it in time to be included on the postcard marketing piece? Click here for the form to complete and fax in.
Carol Stream Residents - July 1st is the deadline for new vehicle stickers to be on vehicles. For more info, check the village website.
Parade on July 3rd - You could showcase your business in the Annual Independence Day Parade in Carol Stream. Note that the parade is NOT on July 4th, as usual, but on Saturay, the 3rd instead. Visit carolstreamparade.com for the form. Lineup is 8:30am; parade steps off at 10am near County Farm and Woodhill, Carol Stream. Will be show on local cable station over and over. I'll be the MC, so let me talk about you! 
Fireworks will be at the Town Center on JULY 3rd! - Chamber member Baja Italiana (formerly Bel'Gustos) will be serving food starting at 6pm and "Yard Fulla Cars" , a country rock band will perform from 7pm till 9:30pm, then the fireworks. Shuttle bus available from Glenbard North (Kuhn and Lies Roads) from 6-11pm. The Town Center is located on the southwest corner of Gary and Lies in Carol Stream.
The Chamber office will be closed Monday July 5th in observance of Independence Day.
Our Monthly Chamber Luncheon will be July 14 from 11:30am-1:00pm at the Holiday Inn and Suites, Carol Stream. The topic will be Small Business Info presented by the Illinois Treasurer's Office. Our chamber has been invited to be a part of the Seminar on Social Media July 15th breakfast, Medinah Shriners, 550 Shriners Drive, Addison. JD Gershbein will be the speaker.
