The chamber Luncheon Policy dated July 11, 2008 which requires attendees to pre-register for all chamber luncheons, regular monthly luncheons as well as Women In Business luncheons. When you pre-register, we are better able to plan with the restaurants we are dealing with for the right amount of meals. Pre-registration (RSVP) must be done 3 business days prior (Friday noon for a Wednesday luncheon) and walk-ins will not be able to be accommodated. Cost for member lunch will be $25 and non-members are $30 pre-paid. Cancellation and no-shows will be charged $25. Payment will be expected in advance or at the door; no invoicing available. These early morning gatherings on the 1st Tuesday of every even month will bring us to a different business location each time. Starting at 7:30am, we'll have some mingling followed by introductions. This is yet another way for you to increase the visibility of your business. The event is hosted by a chamber member and FREE to attendees. | FEBRUARY LUNCHEON...TAKE THE TIME |
Chamber members are invited to sign up online for a luncheon on Wednesday, February 10th. Our speaker will be Pamela Marte Certified Professional Co-active Coach from Inside/Out Coaching and she will give us the tools and techniques to help us Manage Our Time and have a Work/Life Balance.
Speakers.... and networking make our luncheons valuable to attendees. Speakers who present pertinent business topics and networking opportunities -- all in 1.5 hours. Plan your month ...fitour luncheon into your appointment book or calendar!
The February 10th luncheon will be held at the Holiday Inn & Suites, 150 S. Gary, Carol Stream from 11:30am-1pm. Mini-exhibitors will have expo tables from 11:30-noon and again at 1:00.
Four members will be chosen from those in attendance and will be the BUSINESS OF THE MONTH, along with another attendee chosen to receive a FREE EBLAST.

The second meeting of our new Chamber Leads Group - ROCS! (Referral Organization of Carol Stream will be held on Wednesday, February 3, from 7:15am-8:30am at Augustino's Rock & Roll Deli, 246 S. Schmale, Carol Stream.
The purpose of this group is to meet regularly and pass leads or referrals. The kick-off meeting was Wednesday, January 20th. The group is category-exclusive. If you would like to attend, call Ed Zuniga (630) 871-8840.

| 5 STAR BUSINESS EXPO BOOTHS AVAILABLE FOR FEBRUARY 19 |

Those numbers explain only a part of what is known as the Five Star Business Expo. Held this year at Hilton/Indian Lakes Resort on February 19th, this Business-to-business Expo is full of opportunity. Exhibitors have the opportunity to showcase their new products or services. Networking is also prevalent, as exhibitors mingle with each other, when possible, to further business relationships.
Expo booths start at $225 and there are also Sponsorship opportunities. No one leaves hungry, as 10 Food Sponsors distribute their specialties, to everyone's delight. | It's BAAAACK! The Return of the St. Patty's Day Reverse Raffle will be realized on March 11, 2010 at the Holiday Inn. An evening event, this raffle will offer the chance to win $5,000 to the Grand Prize winner, along with a Door Prize opportunity to win a Big Screen 40" LDHD TV!
200 tickets will be sold for $100 each. You may buy a ticket yourself, or split one with co-workers or friends.

Our monthly Business After Hours will be held on Thursday, February 18th at Manhattan's Bar and Grill, 300 S. Schmale, Carol Stream (south of St. Charles Road), from 5:30-7:30pm.
These gatherings are casual and designed to provide an informal networking opportunity for you to get to know other chamber members, building business relationships. Do you have a business associate that could benefit from chamber membership? Bring them along!
We thank our hosting 'crew' - Sindy Rogers and her very capable staff, as they provide us with appetizers to show us specialties of the house. Cash bar available. RSVP to the chamber office and let us know you'll join us on February 18th!
