Luncheon Policy Update
There is a Luncheon Policy that began in January 2008 which requires attendees to pre-register for all chamber luncheons, regular monthly luncheons as well as Women In Business luncheons. When you pre-register, we are better able to plan with the restaurants we are dealing with for the right amount of meals. Pre-registration (RSVP) must be done 3 business days prior (Friday noon for a Wednesday luncheon) and walk-ins will not be able to be accommodated). Cost for member lunch will be $25 and non-members are $30 pre-paid. Cancellation and no-shows will be charged $25. We do appreciate your consideration and cooperation on this new policy. Please call Luanne Triolo if you have any further questions on this matter (630) 665-3325. | |

Hi, Chamber members!!
In between our quarterly mailed newsletters, we like to keep our members updated on the monthly events.
Fire up the palm pilots, open Outlook or take out your planner and mark down these dates. These events are great opportunities to network, build relationships, thus building your business. Join us! If you know someone who could benefit from our organization, please feel free to forward this to them. |

"Progressive" Luncheon on Oct. 8th
This month's luncheon will give members an opportunity to network with business professionals from 4 other chambers -- Addison, Bloomingdale, Glendale Heights and Itasca.
The luncheon, on Wed., October 8th will be held at Glendale Lakes Golf Club, 1550 President, Glendale Heights. Please arrive early -- we will be sitting everyone down to begin at 11:30. Registration will open at 11:00am.
Members will be seated according to the numbers on their nametags -- three numbers representing three different tables to be seated at, during the event. Table moderators will assist in introductions and facilitate the conversations.
RSVP DEADLINE is Friday, October 3rd, so call us or email us today -- or register online through the link on the email sent Tuesday -- Sign up!
And...don't forget a load of business cards. A brochure table will also be in the hallway for any flyers you may have. |
After Hours at Jameson's on Oct. 16
Hosting us for the After Hours this month will be Elissa Doland and her crew at Jameson's Charhouse in Bloomingdale on Thursday, October 16th. They have planned an assortment of complimentary appetizers for those in attendance. A cash bar will be available but soft drinks will be complimentary.
Do you have a busy schedule? The beauty of the After Hours concept is that you can visit one of our member's place of business and network with other business professionals any or all of the two hour period between 5:30-7:30pm.
Let us know if you will be attending and don't forget your business cards. |
THANK YOU for your Generosity - Flood Relief
When the Village contacted us and put out the call to help residents hit by the flooding in September, chamber and community members responded en force!
Thank you, all, for your caring spirit and generosity as you donated items, meals, purchased meals, gift cards, cleaning supplies and volunteered to help those in need. Many comments were made at the great response our community and businesses gave when called upon.
To me, this shows that our members are not only darn good at networking with and referring business to other chamber members, but also you have huge hearts. Thank you so very much!
