Fire up the palm pilots, open Outlook or take out your planner and mark down these dates. These events are great opportunities to network, build relationships, thus building your business. Join us!

  • LUNCHEON - May 9th
  • What do you need to know to protect your business and your customers and employees when it comes to Identity Theft? Are you in 'compliance' with the requirements?

Frank Mitchell and Joe Izzo from Identity Theft Awareness Group (iTag) will present key information on what you need to know about "Privacy Compliance" at our monthly Chamber luncheon on Wednesday, May 9th.

Also at this luncheon, have the opportunity to meet the new Mayor-elect of Carol Stream, Frank Saverino, a chamber member who owns Saverino & Associates. He will take a few minutes to introduce himself and tell us a little about what's coming up.

Luncheons are always a perfect opportunity to network and meet local business professionals and community leaders. We hope you'll join us at this May luncheon.

RSVP to this event by calling 630. 665. 3325 or emailing our office. Cost is $20/members who RSVP by May 8th or $25/visitors and walkins.

They are the May host for our After Hours from 5:30 - 7:30pm. Jim & Jacki Hudmon will welcome us with snacks and cocktails and an additional 10% off any purchases at this event.

Call us and tell us you'll be one of the networking chamber members there at this After Hours. Barn Owl is located on Gary, just south of St. Charles Road.

    "Everything Comes to Serve"
    Debbie Battersby, Janneh International
    Thursday, May 31st, 2007
    Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites
150 S. Gary Avenue, Carol Stream
    11:30am - 1:30pm
    $20 Members/$25 Visitors
    RSVP BY MAY 29th

This will be a joint luncheon with the Bartlett, Warrenville and Winfield Chambers Women's groups.

Debbie's work presents a new twist on understanding our emotions. She contends there are no negative emotions, though clearly those that don't feel good, those that feel really bad and even those that seem unbearable.

Everything Comes to Serve is a fascinating look into the purpose and power of our emotions, especially the uncomfortable ones, and learning how to use them to our greatest benefit.

Harness the power of FEAR and gain simple insights into releasing the feelings that have been holding you back. Use these tools in everyday situations

PHILANTHROPY - Bring a Teddy Bear (12" - 14") for the Carol Stream Firefighters to share with a child who is a medical or fire victim. Watch for more information on this event soon!
