 Spring is officially here and the buzz is going around about our 3rd Annual Bar-B-Que Cook-Off April 28 set for Striker's Motorcycle Club. There will - of course - be live entertainment - great food and some of the best bar-b-cue you've ever tasted by many of the Southeast's best chefs. Also the buzz is building for the Sweet Auburn Spring Fest - set for the second weekend in May 11, 12 & 13. Stay tuned for more details on the Auburn Fest. The Buzz -- Motion Picture Report --- The Hunger Games ,,, It seems that there is so much anticipation for the motion picture The Hunger Games ,,, People are talkng about the new film all over the world ,,, The film is based on the New York Times Best Selling book by the same name ,,, The movie is directed by Gary Ross and the novel is written by best selling author Suzanne Collins ,,, To date the book has sold more than 23 million copies ,,, It stayed on the New York Times Best Seller List for around 160 weeks ,,,
Everywhere you turn - and especially on television - people were taliking about the film ,,, The commercials that run on TV promoting the film suggests that is the movie to see of 2012 ,,, A Best Selling novel usually means that the film story is going to be as successful as well ,,, But anyway - the buzz surrounding The Hunger Games is really big ,,, Many people will go out when it opens this week to really see if the film lives up to the novel ,,,
