Although there is strife, turmoil and drama all around the world in regards to the wars we are fighting and the incredible natural disasters - the year 2010 still looks to be an exciting year. Our hearts and positive vibes go out to the people of the Republic of Haiti as the relief efforts move forward to make a positive impact on the population. We are also are mindful of the citizens of the Southern California specifically - the Los Angeles area as they continue to battle the flood waters that have come their way. We all have to do our part in making the world a better place for all. Whenever there are natural disasters - the citizens of the world come together to ease suffering and to help rebuild that which is lost. We can all help in some way. |

Whitney Houston, Queen Latifah, P Diddy At BET Honors Awards
There was much excitement as Atlanta based carpet consultant Ron Linton and Love Internet Radio's Tom Davis traveled to the nation's capital for the Annual BET Honors Awards. Mr. Linton is responsible for laying the official red carpet for the 2010 BET Honors Awards - that recognized such names as Whitney Houston, Queen Latifah, P Diddy and many others. This is Ron Linton's third year working with the Honors Awards.
Some of the stars performing at the awards in Washington, DC included such names as Maxwell, Stevie Wonder, Tichina Arnold and others. "The event was well attended," states Mr. Linton. "It was held at the Warner Theater on 13th Street."
In his own words Ron says "Imagine how wonderful it would be to get out of bed and step on your brand new carpet. We can make it happen." Ron Linton is located at 1083 Euclid Avenue - in Little 5 Points.

Because of the many producers, managers, artists, recording studios and other music executives who are based in the city - the Atlanta music scene is a lot more visible on the 'world stage'. Since the city's music travels around the world - then it is fitting and long overdue that there be an "Atlanta International Music Festival." The Atlanta International Music Festival celebrates many great music legends and it is a powerful event showing how the city has impacted the world.
The festival attendees cover a wide cross-section of residents and visitors, however the festival is viewed mainly as a family event. There is an activity at the festival for every member of the family. Many Stages of Entertainment The Children's Fantastic Fun Zone, and a Vendors Marketplace.

There will be a number of exciting new events activities taking place during the year. These include The Atlanta International Music Festival, The Love Radio / Accent Productions Barbecue Cook-off and more. We also urge you to participate in the USA's 2010 Census as all need to be counted so that our various communities can benefit from federal aid and other kinds of financial allocations.
