" I am honored to be this month's highlighted member.

I have loved being a part of BVD for about 11 years now. During that time I have literally "grown up" along with the four horses I have owned that shared my journey as a member of the amazing BVD community.

I am currently a teammate to my 6 year-old hanoverian, Royal Aries.  As a team were 2011 RMDS Champions for Training and First Level as well as USDF Year End Champions for Training and First Level Adult Amateur.

I have volunteered at BVD/RMDS shows in many capacities through the years and when I was ready to take on an ongoing supporting role, the perfect fit for me was to assist BVD in taking advantage of the new social media venues that will enable us to further inform and connect our members. Currently, I am serving as the BVD Social Media Director.

If you would like to become more involved with supporting the media and communications department of BVD or would like to share news about you and your horse,  please contact me directly at

Keep an eye out this show season for Danielle and Aries in the ring and take the opportunity to say hello and thanks for volunteering her time as our BVD Social Media Coordinator!

Join us for our BVD Meetings and get more involved in your chapter!

"I am a BVD member however I do not show - just enjoy riding 'backyard dressage', on Brie, my 9 year old appendix mare.  I have my horses at home, so being a BVD member and helping out at the activities and shows, keeps me in touch with the dressage community.
It's a win-win situation, for me (keeping in touch with other riders and learning from them), and for BVD members who show, (since my volunteer time helps enable them to have a venue to display their talents).  Thanks BVD!"

BVD  WEBSITE UPDATE COMING!

We're excited to say that we've hired website development company dottedi.biz to take Boulder Valley Dressage's website to the next level.  And we've just purchased the more descriptive, findable domain name ... BoulderValleyDressage.org.  Development is underway and you can expect to see it operational before the end of summer.

We want to thank Lori Oakley from the bottom of our hearts for building and maintaining the current Boulder Valley Dressage website.  Lori developed and continually updated the website as a gift to Boulder Valley Dressage.   Lori, we are all very grateful for you and your intent to make Boulder Valley Dressage work for our members.

In the meantime, please keep in touch with us on Facebook where we will post news and events!
