Greetings!
"Beware the Ides of March!" Why? Because March 14th is the deadline for Arts Project Grant submissions. Region 2 Arts Council has $22,700 in funds available for Arts Project Grants, which is enough to fund at least 15 separate projects! Take advantage of this rare opportunity to fund the projects on your wish list. In fact, all March and April grant deadlines are fast approaching. Native American artists, Non-Profit organizations, Schools and Students, take advantage of the grant opportunities we offer this spring. These grants will not be available again until next fall, and the Artist Mentor grants for students are only available once per year. Refer to the R2AC Grant Deadlines listed in the newsletter and download applications from our website. R2AC is pleased to have facilitated many diverse professional development workshop opportunities for artists and arts organizations this year. Watch for posts on the latest "No Risk" workshop offerings coming your way, there are six to choose from in March alone! We hope you will enjoy and explore some of the many art experiences happening in our region this spring. Respectfully yours, Terri Widman R2AC Executive Director |
