Northern Arts News

Greetings!

Happy New Year!

With new grant rounds approaching, Region 2 Arts Council staff has been on the road promoting all of our grants. This time around, we've placed special emphasis on Legacy funded grants: Arts and Cultural Heritage, Artist Mentor, and Community Arts Support Grants. The next Arts and Cultural Heritage Grant deadline is January 17, 2012. We strongly encourage individual artists, teachers, town and city officials, arts organizations, and non-profits to apply for an ACH grant, knowing the positive effect quality arts programming continues to have on our region.

The Legacy Fund, Minnesota Legislature, and McKnight Foundation help Region 2 Arts Council with our commitment to strengthening the presence of the arts in our communities. Whether you are an artist or arts appreciator, we hope your passion and appreciation for the arts stay strong. Please send us an email, give us a call, or stop by our office at 426 Bemidji Avenue in Bemidji to share your project ideas with us. We are eager to discuss the ways R2AC grants can help support your enthusiasm for the arts!

Sincerely,

Terri, Holly, and Laura
