 | Pop Tab Collections |
|
Ronald McDonald's Pop Tab Collection program is an easy way for people of all ages to support RMHC and know they are helping maintain a safe haven for out-of-town families with a child receiving medical care.
Why just the tab you may ask, instead of the entire aluminum can? RMHC says collection and storage is easier. After the tabs are collected, the local RMHC Chapter brings the collection to local recycling centers, where they are weighed to determine their value. The recycling center then sends the local RMHC Chapter a check for the total value.
To recieve your Ronald McDonald cardboard collection "house" for your corporate offices, contact Richmond Chapter House Manager, Jason Young.

 | Habitat for Humanity Can Drive |
Once you've popped the top, what to do with the rest of the can?
Drop it in one of Habitat for Humanity's cardboard collection bins. Moneys collected from the recycled aluminum will help support the purchase of materials to build local affordable housing for families in need.
For this project we are working with the Hanover Habitat for Humanity office. They will be in charge of distributing and collecting bins throughout the Can Drive program. Please contact Sarah Midkiff via email or phone (804-569-6108) to have your collection bins delivered and to set-up a pick-up schedule.
