Directors' Note

The fourth of July. A celebration of new beginnings, of fighting for what you believe in, of leadership and accomplishment. What more perfect time to celebrate The Purple Crayon? Maybe you can launch your new beginning, advance what you believe in, accomplish something you've been hoping to.

Buzz is growing. You can read about us this month in the Westchester Business Journal (New Mission at Old Church) and in the Rivertowns Patch (Shared Workspace with No Pressure to Buy Coffee). Last month's open mic had triple the attendance of our first, and by the looks of it, it's going to keep growing.

And while summer is a quiet time, we are ramping up for a big fall. Meanwhile, read about some of this month's activities below. Take advantage of these quiet summer months to come down and participate in the open mic, get your tickets for the fall shows, learn more about Draw Your Future, or try out the Inc.  Help us kick off this revolution, and we'll make some fireworks together.
